Morosini – Grimani Castle is today a newly renovated and revitalized castle dating from the 13th century.
The castle palace contains a tasting and sales area that brings together local products from local producers, as well as a selection of wines from the Vinistra Association. This approach strives for the presentation and support of domestic producers, and also emphasizes the gathering of the best Istrian products. The appropriate gallery is designed as a space for various exhibitions, presentations and degustations.
The multimedia exhibition - certainly the most attractive part of the castle, is based on the perception and interpretation of key historical events in the architectural and social development of the castle, or Svetvinčenat. The exhibition follows the chronological development of the place from the 10th century to the present day, initially offering a general introduction to the life and development of the place, gradually drawing visitors to more specific events such as various medieval experiences, and is equally intended for older and younger generations.
The next floor is used as an official room for weddings and conference hall. At the very top is the Captain's Room, which offers an enviable view that reaches all the way to the sea. The majority of exhibits of the exhibition of old weapons Ferlin is located in this room.
In a completely new way, the palace has regained its functionality, and with the introduction of diverse content, the cultural offer of Svetvinčenat has reached a new level.
